A 2 year field experiment was conducted to study the effects of three fertilizer levels and four weed control practices on fertilizer use efficiency and nutrient uptake by wheat and its associated weeds. La orografía y agroecología del estado de Guerrero es muy diversa. En las áreas de altitud intermedia (1200 a 1700 m) prácticamente no se siembran con variedades mejoradas de maíz, debido a su limitada adaptación a las condiciones climáticas y edáficas; por lo que, prevalece la siembra de poblaciones nativas. En las áreas semicálidas se ha seleccionado germoplasma subtropical local; paralelamente, en Valles Altos se aplicó selección para adaptación en cuatro poblaciones tropicales durante 10 años. By using correlation analysis method, regression analysis method and time sequence method, we combine time and space, to establish grain geld spatio-temporal regression prediction model of Henan Province and ail prefecture-level cities. At first, we use the grain geld in prefecture-level cities of Henan in the year 2000 and 2005, to establish regression model, and then taking the grain yield in one year as independent variable, we predict the grain yield in the fifth year afterwards. Growth and yield of rice cultivars sowed on different dates under tropical conditions Ciencia e Investigación Agraria

Rice plants are susceptible to low light or high temperature conditions during the reproductive and maturity stages. Two rice cultivars, Fedearroz 50 ('F50') and Fedearroz 733 ('F733'), were planted on three planting dates, January 1st (PD1), February 15th (PD2) and April 1st (PD3), to expose them to different climatic conditions during the different stages of rice development. The experiment was a factorial arrangement. Of the various weather parameters, solar radiation fluctuated the most among the three different planting dates, with PD1 having the highest number of days with values ≥ 450 cal·cm-2·d-1. Growth components and zinc recovery efficiency of upland rice genotypes PAB

The objective of this work was to evaluate Zn use efficiency by upland rice genotypes. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse, with ten upland rice genotypes grown on an Oxisol (Typic Hapludox) with no application, and with application of 10 mg kg-1 Zn, applied as zinc sulfate. Shoot dry weight, grain yield, Zn harvest index, Zn concentration in shoot and in grain were significantly influenced by soil Zn levels and genotypes. However, panicle number and grain harvest index were significantly affected only by genotype. Genotypes CNA8557, CNA8540 and IR42 produced higher grain yield than other genotypes. Genotypes showed significant variability in Zn recovery efficiency. On average, 13% of the applied Zn was recovered by upland rice genotypes....

Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of application of the growth regulator Trinexapac-ethyl on maize response to the increase in plant density at two sowing dates. A field experiment was carried out in the municipality of Lages, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, during the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 growing seasons. Two sowing dates (10/15 - preferential, and 12/5 - late), four plant densities (5, 7, 9, and 11 plants m-2), with and without Trinexapac-ethyl application, were tested. El manejo físico o laboreo del suelo se hace para crear condiciones óptimas en la zona de raíces de las plantas, a través de una adecuada estructura, porosidad, infiltración y retención de agua, entre otras, que son importantes para el manejo sustentable del recurso suelo.
